Figment

 I dreamt about you last night,
You were like a starlight,
I couldn't resist though I tried my might,
Can I make you mine just for tonight?

I was sleeping soundly,

But I could still feel my giddy,

This act may be a little naughty,

But I asked you to dance with me on the alley, 

Or maybe on your balcony, 

I just don't want to end this journey.

You chuckle as you shook your head, 

I don't want to hear you say "no", 

Little do you know, 

I was hoping for you to say "let's go".

But the moment you're willing to take a stand, 

And there was me who was willing to take your hand, 

The lights are slowly turning into darkness, 

My star fell into the abyss.

I grasped,

And a tear fell down.

There was my only chance, 

But I watched it slip through my hands

I thought the only monster is this reality, 

But so as my fantasy.
